Rosario Central River Plate betting prediction

Betting suggestion:

With a team technically superior to the opponent and to be playing in their territory, the home team figure as favorite to win the match, and the tendency is to confirm that favoritism on the pitch and win the match. So, a bet on the home team’s victory seems of great value.

Preview
On Wednesday, River Plate-URU visits to the Gigante de Arroyito stadium, in Rosario, to take on Rosario Central in a match counting for the third round of the Libertadores Cup 2016.

Analysis R. Central

Rosario Central is a traditional team in Argentine football and played several times the Libertadores, but has never been further than the semi-finals of the competition. The team is going through a very good moment, coming from a season where they made good campaigns in the two major national competitions, being vice champion of the Argentina Cup and 3rd placed in the Primera División. This season the team is strengthened and with that is doing another good participation in the Argentine championship.

After six rounds, Central is undefeated and leading their group, having very good performances. Already the team's campaign in the Libertadores Cup hasn’t been as expectable, with the team winning only one point so far and in desperate needing a win. In the last match, even playing away home, despite the defeat, the team was very well against Palmeiras and could have come out with a better result. Seeking their first victory in the competition, the coach Eduardo Coudet shouldn’t count on José Luis Fernández, Marcelo Larrondo and Cristian Villagra, who are recovering from injury.

Confirmed Lineup: Sebastián Sosa, Victor Salazar, Pablo Alvarez, Alejandro Donatti, Javier Pinola, Damian Musto, Giovani Lo Celso, Gustavo Colman, Franco Cervi, Germán Herrera, Marco Ruben.
Coach: C. Tevez.

Analysis River Plate

River Plate de Montevideo doesn’t have the same relevance of their opponent this Wednesday, being this the first participation of the team in a Libertadores Cup. The team's place in the competition came with the third best score in the general table of the Uruguayan Championship, ensuring participation in pre-Libertadores. At this preliminary stage, the team had a very difficult challenge to face the Universidad de Chile, managing to advance of stage thanks to a good defensive performance.

In the four matches played so far in the competition, River Plate conceded goals in only one. One of the team's problems this season beginning is that the team had won only the first official match, precisely in the pre-Libertadores, and spent seven straight matches without a win. Last weekend, they managed to break this bad result to win in the Uruguayan championship, and now they hope to take this moment for the Libertadores. In this match, the coach Juan Carrasco must have all their players available.

Confirmed Lineup: Alison Pérez Barone, Cristian González Aidinovich, Agustín Ale, Darío Flores Bistolfi, Ronaldo Conceição, Giovanni Gonzalez, Pablo González Ferrón, Fernando Gorriarán, Sebastián Ribas, Michael Santos, Nicolás Schiappacasse.
Coach: I. Ithurralde Sáez.
