Motherwell St. Johnstone betting prediction

Betting suggestion:

Both teams will face each other at a time when confidence levels are not boosted, as both are going through a bad period of form. At home, Motherwell promises a defensive free-flowing attitude, in order to take advantage of St. Johnstone's defensive permeability. Therefore, a divided and open game is expected, with several goalscoring opportunities for both sides.

Analysis Motherwell

Motherwell have not been able to produce a great campaign in this edition of the Premiership, where they occupy 9th place in the table, with the same 20 points as Dundee United, Ross County and Kilmarnock, within 10 points of the access zone to the championship group. About a week and a half ago, the team led by manager Stevie Hammell interrupted the bad form by beating Arboarth away (0-2), in the Scottish Cup, but they are still without a win, since October last year, in the championship. Last Saturday, Motherwell lost by 1-0 against St Mirren in their final Premiership match.

Confirmed Lineup: Liam Kelly, Paul McGinn, Ricky Lamie, Stephen O'Donnell, Oliver Crankshaw, Callum Slattery, Riku Danzaki, Sean Goss, Shane Blaney, Kevin van Veen, Jack Aitchison.
Coach: G. Alexander.

Analysis St. Johnstone

St Johnstone have had a relatively even ride in their fight to stay in the Scottish top flight. Callum Davidson's side are currently eighth on the table with 24 points, four clear of the bottom four and five clear of Aberdeen, six points off the top six. With seven consecutive defeats, the St. Johnstone team is in the middle of a results crisis that has been going on for over a month, having the last victory in mid-December last year. Last weekend, Davidson's side lost by 2-0 away against Rangers, also adding their second straight game without scoring a goal.

Confirmed Lineup: Remi Matthews, Alex Mitchell, Liam Gordon, Andy Considine, Adam Montgomery, Melker Hallberg, Daniel Phillips, Drey Wright, Cameron MacPherson, Nicholas Clark, Stevie May.
Coach: S. MacLean.
