Preview:
Sporting plays against Boavista at Estádio José Alvalade, in Lisbon, to the 29th fixture of the Portuguese League.
The Lions are currently at the third place of the league with 60 points, after 17 wins, 9 draws and just two losses. At home, Sporting has won the last three matches.
Boavista is at the 13th place of the competition with 29 points from 8 wins, five draws and 15 losses. And their performance away from home is really bad. They loss nine times and only won once in 14 away games.
In their head-to-head, the lions have a clear advantage. In the last ten meetings, Sporting has won seven times, tied twice and only lost once.

Analysis of Sporting CP

The great absent in Sporting team for this match is Ewerton: the brazilian defender was sent off in the last match and so, is suspended. But they also have Nani and Slimani back at the starting eleven.
Slimani is one of the great references of Sporting's attack. The argelian striker is very strong at the aerial game and decisive at set peices. But he is very dependant of the excellent plays from Nani and Carrillo. William Carvalho is responsible for the midfield organization. He is capable of recovering many balls and can start the offensive process with great effectiveness.

Into this match, the portuguese manager Marco Silva should opt for his usual 4-3-3, focused in a supported football and quick transitions, especially throw the flanks.

Probable Eleven: Rui Patrício; Miguel Lopes, Tobias Figueiredo, Paulo Oliveira, Jefferson; William Carvalho, Adrien Silva, João Mário; Nani, Carrillo, Slimani.

Manager: Marco Silva

Confirmed Lineup: Rui Patrício, Paulo Oliveira, Cédric Soares, Tobias Figueiredo, Jefferson, Nani, Adrien Silva, João Mário, Oriol Rosell, J. Tanaka, A. Carrillo.
Coach: Marco Silva.

Analysis of Boavista

In this match, their main reference should be Uchebo. The nigerian striker is very good in positioning and can get to the area very easily. But in 25 matches he only managed to score four times.
But the biggest danger for Sporting is Brito. The cape-verdean winger has lots of technique, driving accuracy, finishing and especially tones of speed. Tengarrinha plays his part at the middle, trying to keep team's balance with his ball recoveries and tackles.

We expect that the manager Petit opts for a very defensive 4-2-3-1 formation with some players to explore quick transitions when possible.

Probable Eleven: Mika; João Dias, Appindangoyé, Carlos Santos, Afonso; Tengarrinha, Idris Mandiang, Gabriel, Zé Manuel, Brito; Uchebo.

Manager: Petit

Confirmed Lineup: Mika, Afonso Figueiredo, M. Čech, A. Appindangoye, Philipe Sampaio, B. Beckeles, Tengarrinha, Diego Lima, I. Mandiang, Leozinho, Zé Manuel.
Coach: Petit.

Betting suggestion:

We expect Sporting to score at least two goals in this match. They should control the entire game and are probably going to create the best chances to score. Boavista will maintain his defence tight trying to keep the nil for the most time possible.
