Toluca Tigres UANL betting prediction

Betting suggestion:

Two teams playing a more offensive football. The visiting team has a very strong offensive sector and should make an incisive match and full of scoring opportunities. So, the most likely scenario for this match is that we will have an open match and, a bet in over 2 goals seems of great value.

Preview
Sunday, Tigres visit to Nemesio Diez Stadium to take on Toluca for the 1st round of the Clausura. This match will be between two teams that have made similar handlings in the latest edition of the Apertura. Both get qualified, and the home team ended the first stage in second place. The visiting team finished in the fifth place. In the last match between the teams, Tigres won by 2-0, away home.

Analysis Toluca

Toluca comes for the Clausura after a good handling in the last Apertura, when they reached the semifinals and were eliminated by Tigers, who would become champion. For the current competition the team aims to reach the semifinals again, knowing that the title will be difficult to achieve, especially for being disputing the Libertadores in parallel with the Mexican. For the first match the team knows the difficulties they’ll have, once that they will face the current champion of the Apertura and still plays against the numbers, once that they won only three times in the last eleven matches against the opponent. So, even a draw will be considered a good result.

For the match for the Clausura, the coach Jose Saturnino Cardozo will count on the strengthening of two players and they are: Gerardo Flores, right lateral that came from Cruz Azul and the midfielder Ricahrd Ortiz who came from Libertad-PAR. On the other hand, there was only an absence in Toluca’s team and it was the midfield Sergio Napoles, who went to Merida. Remember that some players return from loan and will be analyzed to see if they will remain in the team.

Confirmed Lineup: Alfredo Talavera, Aaron Galindo, Francisco Gamboa Gómez, Gerardo Rodríguez, Paulo Da Silva, Gerardo Flores, Antonio Rios, Darío Bottinelli, Carlos Esquivel, Fernando Uribe, Enrique Triverio.
Coach: R. Cristante Mandarino.

Analysis Tigres

Tigers did an excellent campaign in the last Apertura and, are the current champion of the competition, as well as being vice-champion of Libertadores Cup and rely on high-level players in their squad. For the Clausura, the team, once again, aim to reach the final stage and especially win the title, ensuring the bi-championship. For the match against Toluca, the team led by Ricardo Ferreti will be searching for the victory, even knowing the match won’t be the easiest. Even so, they know it's important to win away home to achieve the success in the competition.

Aiming once again to be champion, Tigers brought four reinforcements to their squad and they are: Zelarayán and Luis Silva, both midfielders and came from Belgrano-ARG and Real Salt Lake-US, respectively, and the forwards Fernando Fernandez and Hector Mancilla, coming from Guarani-PAR and Dorados, once that the last one came on loan. On the other hand, the team lost Jairo Gonzales and Escoto, because their loan agreements were over. The team also lent some players who were not part of the team's plans for the season.

Confirmed Lineup: Nahuel Guzmán, Juninho, Jose Rivas, Jorge Torres, Israel Jiménez, Jesús Dueñas, Guido Pizarro, Javier Aquino, Jürgen Damm, Rafael Sóbis, André-Pierre Gignac.
