Analysis of Santa Cruz

Santa Cruz is in the 13th position and has climbed a few places in the table. They have had a bad season start, since they lost 5 of their first 6 matches, but they have recovered since then. They have tied a few matches, tied some others and now they have lost again.

However, this lost in the last round was the only one they had in the last 7. Moreover, it was an away loss against a strong team, Náutico, which is in the 4th position.

Santa Cruz has had a few disappointing exhibitions, but they have improved lately and have won important points in the last matches. Forward Anderson Aquino, ex-Coritiba, is still in the club and is the best scorer of the B Series, so he is naturally the team’s offensive reference.

Probable Line-up: Fred; Bruninho, Diego Sacoman, Dani Morais, Marlon (Neris); Wellington Cézar, Renatinho (Luisinho), João Paulo, Lelê; Nathan (Niquinho), Anderson Aquino

Coach: Marcelo Martelotte

Confirmed Lineup: Tiago Cardoso, Marlon, Neris, Diego Sacoman, Bileu, Moradei, Renatinho, Daniel Costa, Lele, Anderson Aquino, Nininho.
Coach: Marcelo Martelotte.

Analysis of Atlético GO

Atlético Goianiense is usually a competitive team in the B Series and has actually played in the A Series a few years ago, but this has been one of their worst seasons ever, so they are near the last position.

They are doing so poorly that they have only won 2 of their last 12 matches and haven’t won in the last 5. Their offense is the worst of the league and their defence the 8th best. They are a team of strong marking that usually doesn’t’ create many goal opportunities.

To make matters worse, Atlético Goianiense has lost all of their away matches, against Paysandu, América Mineiro, Vitória, Criciúma and Ceará. Moreover, they have scored a single goal in all these macthes.

Probable Line-up: Renan; Eduardo, Lino, Marllon, Samuel; Anderson Pedra, Pedro Bambu, Anderson Leite (Juninho), Aílton; Geraldo, Arthur

Coach: Jorginho

Confirmed Lineup: Marcio, Danilo Tarracha, Marllon, Samuel, Pedro Bambú, Anderson Pedra, Aílton, Feijão, Thiago Primão, Geraldo, Arthur.
Coach: João Paulo Sanches.

Betting suggestion:

Santa Cruz has had disappointing exhibitions in some matches, but they have improved in the last rounds. Moreover, they do have the home advantage. Atlético Goianiense, on the other hand, has lost all of their away matches; they don’t usually score many goals and have given no signs that they can do better.
