Preview:

Analysis of Internacional

Internacional is totally focused in the Libertadores Cup, in which they are to play the semi-final against Tigre, from México. A few days from now they have a 2nd leg semi-final match, so once again they will be playing with a reserve team in the national championship.

This is why Internacional isn’t doing so well in the A Series. They had to play several matches without their usual starting line-up, so the team wasn’t as strong and they have lost a few points in matches which they would normally win.

In the last match they won against Joinville, which is in the last position, but before that they lost against home matches against Atlético Mineiro and Flamengo, apart from the away loss against Sport. Therefore, they have proven they aren’t 100% focused on the national league and will once again be playing with a reserve team, so they are unlikely to have a great exhibition.

Probable Line-up: Muriel; Léo, Nilton, Réver, Artur; Nico Freitas, Anderson, Taiberson, Eduardo Sasha, Vitinho; Rafael Moura

Coach: Diego Aguirre

Confirmed Lineup: Muriel, Réver, Zé Mário, Juan, Wellington, Alex, Eduardo Sasha, N. Freitas, Nilton, Vitinho, Rafael Moura.
Coach: Argel Fucks.

Analysis of Goiás

Goiás is only one position away from the relegation zone. They have got the same points as the first team in this zone, but have the advantage due to a better goal difference.

They have only won a single match in the last 10, the surprising 4-1 win over Santos. They are the 4th worst offense of the league, with a very low average of goals scored.

We expect Goiás to once again play defensively, in their usual style that has led them to score only 3 goals in the last 7 away matches. The good news is they are the 5th best defence of the league, so they are likely to be able to stop the opponent’s offense.

Probable Line-up: Renan; Clayton Sales, Felipe, Fred, Diogo; Rodrigo, David, Liniker, Felipe Menezes; Bruno Henrique, Carlos Eduardo

Coach: Julinho Camargo

Confirmed Lineup: Renan, Felipe Macedo, Gimenez, Fred, Diogo Barbosa, Patrick, David, Murilo, Rodrigo, Bruno Henrique, Felipe Menezes.
Coach: Danny Sérgio.

Betting suggestion:

Internacional will not be playing with its usual line-up. Moreover, they aren’t in a good moment in the championship, since they are more focused in the Libertadores. Goiás has been unable to have good exhibitions and should play defensively to try to at least get a tie.
