Analysis of Tigre

Tigre has had a good season start. Although they aren’t in the first place, they have had good exhibitions and are currently 5 points behind 5th place.

So far they have a record of 7 wins, 4 draws and 3 losses and are the 3rd best defence. It’s also important to notice their home record, since they have won 5 of the 6 matches so far. But up to now they have only faced weak teams, like Nueva Chicago, Olimpo, Defensa y Justicia and Atlético Rafaela.

For the first time they are up against a strong team. Therefore, it’s hard to say how they will kope with that.

Probable Line-up: Javier García; Martín Galmarini, Juan Carlos Blengio, Leandro González Pírez and Ernesto Goñi; Facundo Sánchez, Mario Paglialunga, Lucas Menossi and Lucas Wilchez; Marcelo Larrondo and Carlos Luna

Coach: Gustavo Alfaro.

Confirmed Lineup: J. García, L. González Pírez, E. Goñi, J. Blengio, L. Wílchez, F. Sánchez, M. Galmarini, J. Arzura, L. Menossi, L. Garate, C. Luna.
Coach: G. Alfaro.

Analysis of River Plate

River Plate knows the Libertadores semi-final is coming up soon. They are up against Guarani and have good chances of reaching the final.

In the Argentinean Championship they are in the 4th position, with only 1 loss in the last 14 matches. Moreover, they are the best offense of the event and have scored a total of 15 goals in 6 of their 7 away matches.

After almost a month without competing, River Plate has once again played a home match, but lost against Rosario Central in a match for the Argentinean Cup. Nevertheless they are a great team, so we expect them to overcome this loss quickly.

Probable Line-up: Marcelo Barovero; Gabriel Mercado, Jonathan Maidana, Ramiro Funes Mori and Leonel Vangioni; Carlos Sánchez, Matías Kranevitter, Leonardo Ponzio and Bertolo; Rodrigo, Sebastián Driussi and Fernando Cavenaghi

Coach: Marcelo Gallardo

Confirmed Lineup: M. Barovero, É. Álvarez, L. Vangioni, J. Maidana, L. Ponzio, A. Solari, G. Martínez, C. Sánchez, L. Pisculichi, S. Driussi, R. Mora.
Coach: M. Gallardo.

Betting suggestion:

River Plate has a squad of great quality and has had great exhibitions in the Argentinean Championship and in the Libertadores so far. Moreover, they usually do well in away matches. On the other hand, Tigre has had disappointing exhibitions and faces their biggest challenge so far.
