Analysis of Temperley

Temperley is 23rd in the Argentinean Championship with 3 wins, 3 draws and 6 losses. They have the 4th worst offence of the competition with only 8 goals scored. Moreover, they have lost their last two matches with Estudiantes and San Martín San Juan.

They have not been able to use the home advantage in their favour and have won only one home matches in the last 5, against Colon. Therefore, Temperley seems to be cut out for the second division and are only playing in the first because of the changes in the rules of the tournament.

Even with the home advantage, the team has suffered goals in 4 of the last 5 matches, showing their defensive limitations which are likely to keep them in the last places until the end of the season.

Analysis of Huracán

Huracán has played in Libertadores but was eliminated in the group stage by finishing in the third place. Despite having been eliminated from the competition, they have had a reasonable performance and had a few interesting performance, as the away draw against Cruzeiro or the 3-1 home win against this same Brazilian team.

This participation in the continental competition has had its toll on the national league. Therefore, they are now 27th in the Argentinean league, after only 2 wins, 2 draws and 8 losses. But it’s important to notice, however, that these negative results are a consequence of the use of an alternative line-up to spare players for the continental competition. But with the elimination from Libertadores the team is once again focused on the Argentinean league and are likely to improve.

They have scored at least one goal in the last three matches and have conquered an interesting away draw against Rosario Central, currently in the 3rd place.

Probable Line-up: Marcos Diaz; Federico Mancinelli, Martin Nervo, Santiago Echeverria, Luciano Balbi; Lucas Villarruel, Federico Vismara; Agostinho Torassa, Patricio Toranzo, Edson Puch; Ramon Abila

Betting suggestion:

Huracán is a very competitive team and will not be negatively influenced by their current standing. As for Temperley, they have not been able to use the home advantage in their favour and have suffered many goals. Therefore, we believe the away team has a great opportunity to at least win a point in this match.
