Preview:

Analysis of River Plate

River Plate is looking for a win in this match to reach the Last-16 of Argentinian Cup. They want to add this title into their collection of the season because they are also fighting for Copa Libertadores - currently at the Semi Final that is going to be played in a few days.
Thanks to Copa America, the argentinian championship has stopped for a month and the club direction decided to bring some new players like Bertolo, González, Alario, Viudez and the forward Saviola.
In the current season they are producing one of their best campaign of the last couple of years, with many victories and a well organized team managed by Marcelo Gallardo. Their defence is very interesting and they form a very interesting team.

Probable Eleven: Marcelo Barovero; Gabriel Mercado, Jonathan Maidana, Ramiro Funes Mori e Leonel Vangioni; Carlos Sánchez, Matías Kranevitter, Leonardo Ponzio e Bertolo; Rodrigo, Sebastián Driussi e Fernando Cavenaghi – Manager: Marcelo Gallardo

Confirmed Lineup: M. Barovero, L. Vangioni, J. Maidana, É. Álvarez, G. Mercado, C. Sánchez, L. Ponzio, N. Bertolo, M. Kranevitter, G. Martínez, R. Mora.
Coach: M. Gallardo.

Analysis of Rosario Central

Rosário Central is also producing a good campaign this season. They are well placed at the Argentinian Championship - at the top 5 - and just one place below River Plate.
They also have a very good defence that should be tested in this match. At the Championship, they only lost one of the 15 matches played, and curiously that loss happened against River Plate.
This time they play away from home against a very strong team. In case of a loss they are out of the competition so we expect them to defend well.

Probable Eleven: Mauricio Caranta; Víctor Salazar, Pablo Álvarez, Alejandro Donatti, Cristian Villagra; Damián Musto, Nery Domínguez; César Delgado, Franco Cervi, Jonás Aguirre e Marco Ruben – Manager: Eduardo Coudet.

Confirmed Lineup: M. Caranta, A. Donatti, V. Salazar, P. Álvarez, C. Villagra, N. Domínguez, J. Aguirre, D. Musto, W. Montoya, M. Rubén, F. Cervi.
Coach: E. Coudet.

Betting suggestion:

Both teams have good defences and this a high risk match because one of the teams will be eliminated. So, we expect a tight match with both teams avoiding to take many risks. This way, the match should have few goals.
