Analysis: Hull City vs Sheffield Wednesday (26 February 2016)

      Analysis of Hull

Hull City head into this matchup after an important win against Ipswich and head in front of Burnley. They are currently in first, but only 1 point in front of the 2nd placed team. Hull is having good matches and doesn't intend on letting the lead go.

In this final stretch, we should see a lot of action towards the title and a lot of different things could happen as even the 4th placed team have a shot at winning it all. The current leaders are a very strong team and have been great all around.

It's been 6 matches without a loss at home and 4 without even conceding a goal, so it isn't by luck that they are in this position. Even against a dangerous opponent looking for a playoff spot, Hull has a lot of interest at winning this match.

      Analysis of Sheff Wed

Sheffield Wednesday could be in the hunt for the title if it weren't for the previous 2 results, losing away from home and not winning at home. Now they hope to stay in the playoff spot.

But in this match, it is very difficult to think about scoring points as they are facing one of the best teams in the league, fighting for the title. It is going to be tough for Sheffield to win against this kind of team.

History between these two teams tells us that 6 of the last 7 matches went under 2,5 goals as Sheffield has always made it very hard for Hull. With that in mind, they can try to surprise the home team. They will have no players unavailabe for this match.

      Betting suggestion:

Despite Hull having a ton of games played in the last couple of days, I believe that they are the best bet for this match as they have proven what they are capable of against weaker teams. At home and needing a win, a DNB bet should be of great value.
