Analysis: Preston North End vs Charlton Athletic (23 February 2016)

      Analysis of Preston

Preston gets into this game excited after their third straight win and they have no chances of being relegated. It will be really tough to try and grab a spot to the playoffs, but if they continue with their recent form, they might get there.

They are facing the worst team in the league, so the chances for this streak to continue are great. Against this team, they have scored at least 2 goals in 6 of the last 7 matches which makes their confidence grow a bit more.

In this game, they should get to the pitch in the same starting eleven as the previous match in a 3-5-2 formation.

Jermaine Beckford is the only player questionable for the game.

      Analysis of Charlton

Charlton is still putting up a fight, but it is more and more difficult for them to escape relegation. But as long as they have at least a 1% chance, they won't give up and it will take an excellent outing for them to win this match.

They lost the last game and a win would've been really important. Unfortunately, it was another loss and now they face a team in excellent form that is still hoping for a playoff spot and won't let 3 points get away so easily.

Cousins Jordan is getting back to practicing, trying to stay in shape again, however, Johnnie Jackson is out for two weeks. New signings Yaya Sanogo and Rod Fanni aren't ready to play and Yun Suk-Young is an available player. Igor Vetokele is questionable but Ademola Lookman and Diego Poyet are cleared to start the match.

      Betting suggestion:

Preston is on fire and at home should dominate the game and achieve another win, but I don't believe that these odds show value and I think we'll see a hard fought game.

The under is the best bet for this match.
