Analysis: Celtic vs Kilmarnock (23 February 2020)

      Analysis of Celtic

The Celtic team comes to this 28th round at the top of the Premiership standings, with a 10 point advantage over Rangers, although they have one more game played than the rival. Last Thursday, Neil Lennon's team traveled to Denmark, where they tied (1-1) against Copenhagen, in the Europa League round of 32 first leg, qualifying round to be completed in Gasglow next Thursday. In the last round of the championship, Celtic scored the seventh consecutive victory, winning by traveling to Aberdeen, by 2-1, with goals by Callum McGregor and Kristoffer Ajer. The match reached the last 15 minutes tied and it was the goal of the Norwegian defender to unlock and give the victory to Celtic.

      Analysis of Kilmarnock

Kilmarnock's team is in the fight to qualify for the championship round, reaching this journey in 7th place, the first one below the top-6, with a four point disadvantage compared to Hibernian. After winning, in a very surprising way and with an incredible turnaround, against Rangers (2-1), the team led by Alexander Dyer was not able to score again in the last round. In the reception to Hibernian, Kilmarnock was defeated, by 2-1, with Chris Burke scoring the "goal of honor" at the passing of the 30th minute, which was worth, on the occasion, restoring the tie in the marker. Last Wednesday, Kilmarnock was eliminated in the FA Cup, after losing, during overtime, in the reception to Aberdeen, by 4-3.

      Betting suggestion:

Because they are going to play in the middle of the Europa League play offs with Copenhagen, the Celtic team should try to resolve the issue as soon as possible. This means that the chances of the champion reaching the break already in front of the scoreboard will be quite high, since Celtic is expected to enter strong, against a Kilmarnock who is infinitely inferior in the various aspects of the game and who goes to Glasgow with the morale affected by the latest results.
