A game for the Round of 16 in Masters 1000 in Miami. Kei Nishikori will face Bautista-Agut, in the final match of the day, that shouldn't star before 22h (Brazilian time)

Analysis of K. Nishikori

Top Japanese player, Kei Nishikori heads into this match after two easy wins against Dolgopolov and Herbert. His objective is certainly to win a potential final against Djokovic. With Murray, Nadal, Wawrinka and Federer out of the tournament, Nishikori is the next best player to beat Djokovic, but he needs to bring his A game every step along the way. The next match will be against Bautista-Agut.

Nishikori is better than Agut in every possible scenario, but has to be careful with his constant inconsistency during matches. He has to serve at a high level, since he will be facing a good return. Tactically, the Japanese is superior and is always pressuring his opponent's serve. However, he has to show all of this inside the court. So we will have to wait and see how Nishikori will play this Tuesday.

Analysis of R. Bautista-Agut

The Spanish player heads into this match after a good win against Tsonga, in a third set tie break, which led us to a failed bet. Now, the number 18 in the world has a much harder task ahead of him and he is certainly a big underdog in the odds. What he has been showing so far this season is simply not enough to beat Nishikori, but it will be no surprise if Agut can perform well and make a tough match for Nishikori.

Bautista managed the win against Tsonga where he didn't give up after a 6-2 loss in the first set. He was a very good player mentally, overcoming tough situation. Against Nishikori he needs to be even better defensively and also attack his opponent. He might have some physical issues, but it won't be due to the weather as the game will be played at night.

Betting suggestion:

This match points to a top Asian player reaching the quarter finals. Nishikori has more tools to work with than the Spanish player, he is technically superior and is a better overall player. For Roberto to win, he will have to play a lot better than he did against Tsonga, showing great solitude and success when trying to attack Nishikori. With all that has been said, the most probable scenario is a 2-0 win for the Japanese, but we will be cautious and place a bet on the win.

Kei Nishikori wins ⇒ odd 1.28
